The Santee 116 Sport sit in kayak offers all the great benefits of the Santee 116 but with a larger cockpit.

This design is ideal for kayakers wanting to use the extra cockpit space for carrying some extra gear (like fishing gear) or even a dog or small child. The Santee 116  is a lightweight thermoformed kayak offering surperb tracking for a medium recreational kayak.

Slightly leaner and longer and therefore faster than the Santee 100 the Santee 116 also offers front and rear bulkheads providing plenty of storageand additional buoyancy. The immaculate exterior and padded adjustable seat are standard features of the Hurricane range.

Just as tough but lighter than Polyethylene and cheaper and tougher than Fibreglass, Kevlar or Carbon this is a must for the recreational paddler looking for the best in a small recreational kayak.
